Supertech Performance uses their experience of more than 20 years in the manufacturing of racing valves, do intensive testing and work very closely with many engine builders in order to continuously improve and provide the market with the best possible product for every application. High flow rates, durability and quality are of great concern to Supertech Performance.
STAINLESS STEEL VALVES:
Our intake valves are made exclusively from an enhanced versions of EV8 (21-4N) steel. This is the highest grade of steel available and provides the strength to withstand just about any application. Our exhaust valves are made from EV16 (21-8N) or EV8-Nb/w for greater strength at higher temperatures. Some applications call for us to harden certain areas such as the tips and or the seats. For these applications we will often times weld other hard metal alloys to the valve for increased durability.
INCONEL 751 - NICKEL BASE ALLOYS:
This Nickel base alloy material is used for exhaust valves in engines that reach very high temperatures and its use is growing with the application of turbos and superchargers.
We are no offering our Inconel valves, hollow and filled with Sodium. This will ensure cooling of the valve by removing heat from the head of the valve to the stem, providing better temperature distribution, and lowering head tempearture.
