The Injen Hydroshield Pre-filter is a perfect solution to minimize the risk of water entering into the engine due to puddles or heavy rainstorms.
The Injen Hydroshield Pre-Filter is designed to be water repellent and will reduce the risk of water entering through an air intake system from splashes of water. Although our Pre-Filters are proven to be extremely effective in repelling water, please keep in mind they are not water proof.
If the filter is submerged underwater, your intake system can pass water and cause engine hydro lock. Please use caution when driving your vehicle during heavy rainstorms and stay away from deep puddles.
