Denso Iridium Power Spark Plugs
Denso Iridium Power Spark Plugs utilise a 0.4mm Iridium alloy centre electrode and a U-grooved ground electrode to improve ignition efficiency.
This means cleaner combustion, less load on the ignition system, improved economy and a crisper throttle response. Useful service life is expected to be around 2 - 3 times that of a standard spark plug.
Colder plugs dissipate more heat from the cylinder and therefore help to reduce the risk of detonation. Because the plugs need to reach a certain temperature in order to clean themselves, it's important not to go too cold or you risk fouling the plugs
A good rule of thumb is; one heat range colder for every 75–100hp added.
